Player Achievements

In 2023 23 ex-TST players are in the pro club JBNPL squads in Melbourne. We think that's decent!!!

Latest Update : April 2023

April 2023: Valli C Bangs in 4

Port Melbourne Senior NPL
Valli C scored 4 goals in one game whilst playing for port Melbourne in a senior NPL match. Not surprisingly made the NPL team of the week!

April 2023: Christian D: Joeys Call Up!

National Squad U17 Joeys
Christian D joined TST as a 6 year old. This week (April 2023) he got called up to the Joeys U17 National squad. Great reward for all the hard work he and his family have put in over the last 10 years.

March 2023: Dec L. grabs a sneaky goal

KL City Malaysia Super League
Dec L whilst playing for KL City in the Malaysian super league, scored a great goal (as an attacking left foot). Great to see this. He doesn't get money.

Mar 2023: Feedback from a 2014 beginner's parent

TST Beginners Program
Just wanted to say thank you and let you know that our son has gotten so much better since joining TST. Even after just a month. His intensity and skills have improved after playing with kids who are much better than him. the difference is huge when compared against the kids he normally plays against.

Dec 2022: Peter S: Western Utd

Western United

We recently got an email form a parent of a child who did TST when he was younger but now plays seniors. The parent said: 'My child went to a few academies/private lessons when he was younger and I was watching him play the other day afterwards said to him: "Watching you play I noticed that most of the stuff you use is from TST". His face lit up and he said "yes, that was the best and most fun". We repeated footwork over and over and it became second nature. "

Loved getting this feedback as this why we do what we do. Footwork needs to second nature so that players can effectively ignore the ball and focus on seeing the game!!!

Nov 2022: Parents email

Parent Review

Nov 2022: Teah k: NTC Selection

U15 NTC VIC Squad
Congratulations to Teah K, who has secured a place in the 2023 U15 NTC Vic squad. We have been working with Teah since she was a beginner, so we are really proud of the contribution we have made to her development and achievements. Her family, and her club (Box HIll) and her team coaches have all done a great job helping Teah evolve as a player, but the biggest well done must go to Teah herself who has clearly worked really hard to earn this opportunity.

Nov 2022 : Melbourne City JBNPL

U14 Mel City NPL Squad
Congratulations to Dhilan Calleja, who has secured a place in the 2023 U14 Mel City NPL squad, despite being 2 years underage. We worked with Dhilan for long enough to have an impact on his development and his parents supported this view by saying: "Those foundational technical skills he learnt at TST have really paid off! His family, his club (Box Hill since he was 8 yo), his futsal team (Futbal First) and the coaches who have worked with Dylan in the past, have all done a great job. But the biggest well done must go to Dylan himself who has clearly worked really hard to earn this opportunity.

Oct 2022 : Melbourne City JBNPL

U14 Mel City NPL squad
Congratulations to Daniel Lomas, who has secured a place in the 2023 U14 Mel City NPL squad, despite being a year underage. We have only been working with Daniel for a few terms, so we can't take much credit in his development and selection. His family, his club (Nunawading since he was 6yo) and the coaches who have worked with Daniel in the past, have all done a great job. But the biggest well done must go to Daniel himself who has clearly worked really hard to earn this opportunity.

Aug 2022: Senior NPL

Port Melbourne Senior NPL
Valli C is currently a key player in the Port Melbourne side sitting second in the senior NPL league. Its great to see ex-tst players doing so well. Valli isn't he only TST player playing senior NPL. The leagues are scattered with ex TST players.

July 2022 : Mel City

Mel City Update

We are big fans of the Mel City JBNPL development program. We see strong parallels between our program. So it is great to see that the Mel city U16s, U15s and U14s are littered with ex TST players. It is great to see them all doing so well.

Established in 2006

2006 - Present

We only started keeping records in Jul 2022. Imagine how long this list would be if we started it in 2006 when TST first started working with players - developing player technique, touch, footwork and the ability to play in tight spaces. In the first group of players we worked with. 1 went on to represent Australia (U21s mens) the other was a full international (Matildas).
